Job summary

ING Nederland is seeking an IT Marketing & Communication Intern to shape how we communicate tech innovation across 40+ countries. You will collaborate with executives, IT specialists, and global communications teams to promote internal IT products, engage communities, and elevate our department's digital presence.

You will own channel strategy, create multimedia content, and support events while translating employee feedback into improved communication tactics.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in a related field.
• Passionate about technology, corporate innovation, and storytelling.
• Self-driven, organized and proactive with strong attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with hands-on experience in multimedia content creation (video editing, shorts, graphics, podcasts).
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint; knowledge of Confluence is a plus.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Based in the Netherlands with ability to work in Amsterdam in-office at least 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own internal channels and manage the department SharePoint site for clear, consistent messaging across tech services.
• Produce multimedia assets including short-form videos, graphics, copy, and product landing pages for internal IT tools.
• Assist management with session prep, interactive demos, and department-wide events.
• Collect and analyze employee feedback from surveys to drive comms improvements.
• Design brand-consistent comms templates for global IT initiatives.
• Launch posts, interactive challenges, and campaigns on Viva Engage to boost engagement.
