Job summary

Closing the Loop is a leading circular IT innovator offering Green Procurement services across multiple countries. We are seeking a Marketing and Content Intern to support the marketing team with content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and sales materials while assisting with market research, campaign support and performance tracking.

You will translate trends and customer insights into practical marketing content, help develop USPs and service messaging, and create visuals using Canva,

Qualifications

  • Strong writing and content creation skills.
  • Good command of English, spoken and written.
  • Curious about trends, sustainability and IT.
  • Able to work independently and manage tasks.
  • Creative, visually aware, and proficient with Canva, Miro, PowerPoint and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

  • Support content creation for social media calendars, posts and visuals.
  • Draft blog posts, newsletters, website pages and other materials.
  • Explore market trends and customer insights for messaging.
  • Help define USPs, claims and service messaging.
  • Develop and update marketing materials: presentations, leaflets, infographics.
  • Create training kits and service-related materials.
  • Check facts around electronics and sustainability.
  • Assist with basic performance tracking and lead generation research.

Our customers use our services to engage with their employees on their sustainability efforts, to increase their commercial potential, and to reach key impact KPIs. Our in-house developed service, Waste Compensation, enables our customers to compensate for the waste produced by their workplace IT. At the same time, they are helping to solve the problem of the world’s largest growing waste stream: electronic waste. Our service funds the proper collection and recycling of that waste.

About the internship

As a Marketing and Content Intern, you will support the Marketing Team in a broad range of marketing activities. You will help create content for our social media channels, website, blogs, newsletters and sales materials, while also supporting market research, proposition development, campaign activities and basic performance tracking.

You will help translate trends, customer insights and topics around customer needs, sustainability and IT into useful marketing content and practical materials. This includes supporting the creation of USPs, claims, visuals, presentations and other assets that help explain our service in a clear, commercial and engaging way.

Tasks & Responsibilities (examples)
  • Supporting content creation for the social media calendar, including drafting posts, creating visuals and assisting with planning
  • Drafting written content for blogs, newsletters, website pages and other communication channels
  • Exploring market trends, customer insights and relevant developments in sustainability, circular economy and the IT sector
  • Supporting proposition creation activities, such as helping define USPs, claims and service messagingSupporting the development and updating of marketing and sales materials, such as presentations, leaflets, infographics and one-pagers
  • Creating and updating training kits and other service-related materials
  • Checking facts and supporting content quality around electronics, sustainability, electronics
  • Helping with basic performance tracking and reporting for marketing activities
  • Assisting with lead generation activities through research, list preparation and basic campaign support
What do we expect?
  • You are completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field in Europe
  • You enjoy writing and can create different types of content, from short social posts to longer blogs, newsletters or case studies
  • You have a commercial mindset, but also care about sustainability and understand the link between sustainability and business
  • You are curious about trends, customer behaviour, social media and how marketing can support business growth
  • You are creative, visually aware and familiar with tools such as Canva, Miro, PowerPoint and/or Photoshop
  • A critical thinker, ready to question ideas, improve drafts and go beyond the basic ask
  • You are comfortable working with basic data and interested in using results to improve marketing activities
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken, German is an advantage
  • You can work independently and manage your own tasks
  • Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Knowledge of IT, electronics, circular economy or sustainability is an advantage
