Job summary
Rituals seeks a Tech Lead - Data & Analytical Engineering to strengthen how we build and scale data products within our Enterprise Data Platform. You will lead the data engineering team in Amsterdam, combining hands-on engineering leadership with technical direction and mentoring.
You will partner with Product Owners and sponsors to align priorities, elevate legacy pipelines, and advance governance, quality, and observability across the organization.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience building production-grade data products end-to-end.
- Deep expertise in GCP services (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, GCS).
- Proven leadership and mentoring across engineering teams.
- Fluency in business English and office-based in Amsterdam.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, build, and rollout of scalable data products for value stream teams on the Enterprise Data Platform.
- Define and evolve architectural patterns for data and analytical solutions, including batch vs event-driven approaches.
- Drive engineering excellence across development, testing, deployment, observability, security, and documentation standards.
- Mentor data engineers and analytical engineers, while guiding external partners to align with ways of working.
- Partner with Product Owners and sponsors to align priorities and support platform adoption.
- Elevate legacy data pipelines and products to current engineering, governance, and quality standards.
