Job summary

Koninklijke Vopak N.V. seeks a Facility Lead who will report to the SVP HR and Communications.

The role leads a small team and oversees the Westerlaan office facilities, ensuring safe, efficient operations and alignment with corporate standards. You will manage contracts, budgeting, and service providers, drive hard and soft services, and coordinate with senior leadership on space planning and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Facility Management and 5 years of leading Facility operations in a complex international setting.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; strong stakeholder management.

• Contract Management, including Fleet Management, Security, Cleaning, Catering and Reception.
• Financial Management; compile yearly budget, approve purchase orders and invoices.
• Manage all activities in line with the budget.

Your Mission

You will report to our SVP HR and Communications. The Facility Lead has 2 direct reports: a Facility Specialist and a Facility Coordinator.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor degree in Facility Management, paired with hands on experience and 5 years of leading Facility operations in a complex international setting
• Safety & Security, compliance: Overarching systems: you work together with the supplier and with Facility and SHEQ-teams of the Terminals
• Act as Head of Emergency Response (Hoofd BHV): mainly for changes, improvements and understanding of the Emergency Response Plan / RI&E Communication
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with full fluency in Dutch and English
