Job summary

IDM is seeking a Team Leader Flight Case Production in the Netherlands to guide daily operations on the shop floor. You will lead a team, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvements while coordinating with planning, engineering and supply chain.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership and practical problem solving in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a full-time contract with long-term growth, annual leave, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in production or assembly (1–2 years).
• Experience with workforce planning and daily coordination.
• Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methods.
• Knowledge of quality, safety and production processes.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Clear communication, practical decision-making and motivating leadership style.
• Driving license is preferred.
• EU citizenship is mandatory.

Job description

As a Team Leader Flight Case Production, you will organize daily operations, support employees and keep production on track. You will spend most of your time on the shop floor, helping the team work safely and meet quality standards. As the department grows, you will help introduce new activities and improve working methods. Your responsabilities:

• Lead and coach production and assembly employees.
• Plan staffing and distribute daily workloads.
• Monitor output, quality, safety and delivery deadlines.
• Ensure employees follow work instructions and procedures.
• Resolve production bottlenecks and improve efficiency using Lean and 5S.
• Support the department’s growth and coordinate with planning, engineering and supply chain teams.

• At least 1–2 years of leadership experience in production or assembly
• Experience with workforce planning and daily coordination
• Familiarity with Lean, 5S or continuous improvement methods
• Knowledge of quality, safety and production processes
• Good command of both Dutch and English
• Clear communication, practical decision-making and a motivating leadership style
• Driving license is preferred
• European Union citizenship (mandatory)

• Gross salary: €2,900–€3,900 gross per month
• Full-time contract with long-term opportunities

• 25 vacation days per year (20 paid vacation days + 5 paid weekly with salary)
