Job summary

IDM Eindhoven is recruiting for an assembly worker to inspect, repair, and improve high-tech parts and packaging in a compact technical team. You will follow repair instructions, perform quality checks, repairs, and replacements across two shifts, contributing to product improvements and compliant documentation.

Responsibilities include administrative tasks tied to repairs and quality checks, plus suggestions for product enhancements.

Qualifications

• Technical experience (at least 1 year) in assembly, mechanics, or as an operator.
• Ability to read and work with technical drawings.
• Technical background (for example, mechatronics) is a plus.
• Driving license preferred and willingness to work in 2 shifts.
• Good English (B1/B2) skills.

Job description

As an assembly worker, your main task is to inspect, repair, and improve high-tech parts and packaging. You will work in a small technical team in two shifts, following repair instructions to ensure quality. Your responsibilities:

• Check the quality of products.
• Repair damaged packaging and high-tech parts.
• Replace broken or faulty parts.
• Do administrative tasks related to repairs and quality checks.
• Suggest improvements to make products work better and look better.

• Technical experience (at least 1 year) in assembly, mechanics, or as an operator.
• Ability to read and work with technical drawings.
• A technical background (for example, mechatronics) is a plus.
• Preferably a valid driving license and willingness to work in 2 shifts.
• Good English B1/B2 skills, both spoken and written.

Employment terms:

• Gross salary €14,83 per hour excluding 118% shift allowance;
• Resulting in a salary approximately between€500 and€550 netto per weekbased on a 40 hour working-week;
• A contract based on 40-hours with long-term intentions
• Possibility for working extra hours for extra income;
• Salary payments in accordance with Dutch laws and regulations;
• Building up your pension from the first day of work;
• You accumulate 20 vacation days with a full year of full-time work;
• 8,33% holiday allowance per year - paid in May;
• Health insurance

Housing & transport

• Clean, safe and certified housing is arranged for you via Maintec;
• In our housing you have privacy with your own private room and personal space;
• Close to work and basic necessities (shops, public transport);
• Transport to- and from work is arranged by Maintec;500
