Job summary

Hessing zoekt een Team Leader voor de productie, met verantwoordelijkheid voor organisatie en efficiënte werking over meerdere lijnen. Je stuurt operators aan, bewaakt kwaliteit, veiligheid en kostenreductie, en draagt bij aan procesverbeteringen.

Je ziet toe op naleving van interne en externe normen en verzorgt de onboarding van nieuwe Assistant Team Leaders. Je werkt in een dynamische, 24/7 omgeving in Nederland.

Qualifications

• Relevante ervaring in een teamleiderfunctie of soortgelijke positie.
• Goede mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatie in NL en/of EN.
• Kennis van BRC, HACCP en GMP-standaarden.
• Vaardigheid in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Organiseren en superviseren van productieprocessen om soepele operaties en doelstellingen te waarborgen.
• Leiding geven aan operators en productiemedewerkers, inclusief coaching en toezicht.
• Zorgen voor naleving van Food Defense-, kwaliteit- en veiligheidseisen.
• Toezicht houden op continue procesverbeteringen op gebied van kwaliteit, innovatie en kostenreductie.
• Verantwoordelijk voor succesvolle onboarding van Assistent-Teamleiders.

Over de functie

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the effective organisation and smooth operation of production processes, as well as for achieving the agreed production targets. You will ensure compliance with food quality and safety requirements, taking both internal and external standards into account. You will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes in the areas of quality, innovation and cost reduction. You will also supervise compliance with all applicable quality and safety regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Organising and supervising production processes to ensure smooth operations and the achievement of agreed targets
• Managing, training, monitoring and supporting operators, as well as indirectly supervising production employees
• Ensuring compliance with Food Defense procedures designed to protect the integrity of raw materials and finished products
• Enforcing company regulations, procedures and internal policies
• Taking responsibility for the successful delivery of the onboarding programme for Assistant Team Leaders

Working Hours

• Our production facilities operate 24/7. This means that you will work morning, afternoon, and night shifts, including weekends.

Starting times vary depending on the shift and the team. For example, a morning shift may begin at 06:00, 08:00 or 10:00.

• Relevant experience in a teamleader function or similar position
• Good spoken and written communication skills in Dutch and/ or English language
• Knowledge of BRC, HACCP and GMP standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Travel allowance of up to 30 km each way, with a maximum reimbursement of €12.60 per day
• A 40% shift allowance for working after 23:00
