Job summary

Hessing Greenport zoekt een Productie Operator A voor de schaalbare Groenteproductie in Venlo. Je zorgt voor de dagelijkse aansturing van de productielijn, bewaakt kwaliteit en kwantiteit, en werkt volgens HACCP- en BRC-normen.

De rol vereist het opzetten en monitoren van machines, het uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles en het begeleiden van het team op de lijn. Werktijden variëren en 24/7-dienstverbanden komen voor.

Qualifications

• MBO niveau 2 of gelijkwaardig met relevante ervaring.
• Ervaring in voedselproductie en HACCP/BRC-normen.
• In staat machines te bedienen, productiegegevens te monitoren en kwaliteitscontroles uit te voeren.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en/of Engels.

Responsibilities

• Opzetten en bewaken van machines en geautomatiseerde processen.
• Productie volgen, opdrachten beheren en indien nodig bijsturen.
• Kwaliteitscontroles uitvoeren, inclusief metaaldetectie, en afwijkingen melden.
• Orde en veiligheid op de lijn handhaven.
• Leiding geven aan de teamleden en zorgen voor naleving.
• Eventuele afwijkingen escaleren.

Over de functie

The Operator A is responsible for ensuring that the assigned production line operates efficiently, producing products that meet both quality and quantity standards. This role involves performing basic production tasks while strictly adhering to safety and quality regulations.

Your key Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor machines and automated processes
• Track production, manage orders, and make adjustments
• Perform quality checks, including metal detection, and report issues
• Maintain order and safety on the line
• Guide and supervise line staff to ensure compliance
• Escalate any deviations

Working hours

• Our warehouses operate 24/7, so the work schedule includes weekend shifts as well as morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

Shift start times vary depending on the shift and the team. For example, a morning shift may start at 06:00, 08:00, or 10:00.

Wat wij vragen

• MBO level 2 work and thinking skills, with relevant experience in a similar role
• Experience in the food production industry, quality standards (HACCP, BRC)
• Ability to operate and monitor machinery, handle production data, and perform quality checks
• Good proficiency in Dutch and/or English language
