Job summary

Hessing is een toonaangevende producent van verse groenten en fruit met Europese afzet en een focus op innovatie, duurzaamheid en voedselveiligheid. Als Assistant Team Leader ondersteun je de werking van meerdere productielijnen en zorg je dat productiedoelstellingen ruim voldoen aan kwaliteitseisen.

Je organiseert het team, bewaakt hygiëne-normen en reageert adequaat op afwijkingen. Ervaring in de voedingsmiddelenindustrie en mbo-niveau 3 zijn vereist, en er is ruimte voor professionele

Qualifications

• MBO Niveau 3 of gelijkwaardig opleidingsniveau.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en/of Engels, mondeling en schriftelijk.
• Eerdere ervaring in de voedingsmiddelenindustrie.
• Eerdere ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie.

Responsibilities

• Het organiseren en coördineren van het werk van het productie team.
• Zorgen voor productkwaliteit en naleving van hygiëne- en veiligheidsnormen.
• Oplossen van dagelijkse operationele problemen en reageren op productieafwijkingen.
• (Bij)scholingen, onboarding en ondersteuning van nieuwe medewerkers.
• Machines opstarten volgens de vereiste parameters.

Over de functie

As an Assistant Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the operation of multiple production lines and ensuring that production meets the required quality and quantity standards. Compliance with quality and safety regulations is essential.

• Organising and coordinating the work of the production team
• Ensuring product quality and compliance with hygiene and safety standards
• Solving day-to-day operational issues and responding to production deviations
• Training, onboarding, and supporting new employees
• Setting up machines according to the required parameters

Working hours

• Our production facilities operate 24/7, which means you will work in a three-shift system, including weekends

Starting times vary depending on the shift and the team. For example, the morning shift may begin at 06:00, 08:00, or 10:00

Wat wij vragen

• MBO Level 3 education or equivalent working and thinking level
• Good command of Dutch and/or English, both spoken and written
• Previous experience in the food production industry
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
