Job summary

JYSK is building its 10th distribution center in Lelystad and seeks a Team Leader in the Operation Center who ensures operations deliver every day. You will lead the team in a fast, structured environment, guiding Inbound, loading, and priorities as conditions change.

You collaborate with the Department Manager, drive safe, efficient DC operations, and support onboarding. Fluency in English is required (Dutch is a plus); SAP knowledge and strong analytical skills help you resolve daily

Qualifications

• Experience in operational logistics or warehouse operations.
• Experience in workforce planning and daily operational management.
• Good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
• SAP knowledge and systems understanding.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Welcome to JYSK!

JYSK is a rapidly expanding retail chain with more than 3,000 stores in 50 countries. To support this growth logistically, the 10th distribution center is being built in Lelystad. Construction is in full swing, and we expect the distribution center to be operational by early 2027. But of course, that doesn’t mean we’re sitting still until then! Currently, a lot of work is being done in our temporary distribution center to ensure a smooth transition to the new facility.

Job Description

As Team Leader in the Operation Center, you have a clear responsibility: to ensure that operations deliver – every single day.

You lead the team in an operational environment where pace, structure, communication and decisiveness are essential. You ensure that the flow runs smoothly from Inbound to Loading and that the right priorities are set when circumstances change.

You work closely with the operation, make decisions in the moment and ensure that plans become reality. You report to the Department Manager.
