Job summary

JYSK Logistics in Lelystad is seeking a Warehouse Employee for an evening shift at our new distribution center. You will load and unload trucks, pick orders with a handheld scanner, and prepare pallets for shipment while keeping a safe, organized workplace.

The role offers a permanent contract, a starting wage of €16.46 per hour plus a 50% night shift allowance, and a thorough onboarding with training. English basics required; forklift certification preferred.

JYSK is a rapidly expanding retail chain with more than 3,000 stores in 50 countries. To support this growth logistically, the 10th distribution center is being built in Lelystad. Construction is in full swing, and we expect the distribution center to be operational by early 2027. But of course, that doesn’t mean we’re sitting still until then! Currently, a lot of work is being done in our temporary distribution center to ensure a smooth transition to the new facility.

• Shift: Evening shift
• Working hours: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Contract: Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Hourly wage: From €16.46per hour, excluding shift allowances
• Interviews (by invitation): Every Tuesday
• Start date: Every Monday

Qualifications

As a Warehouse Employee, you ensure that all goods are processed correctly and efficiently. Your responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Picking orders using a handheld scanner.
• Preparing pallets for shipment.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Do you already have experience in logistics? Great! If not, we will teach you.

What matters most is that you:

• Enjoy physical work and like to stay active.
• Can work reliably in a structured environment.
• Are a team player and take responsibility for your work.
• Hold a forklift certificate or are willing to obtain one.
• Have a basic knowledge of English.
