Job summary

Robin Radar is seeking a Team Lead Electronics Assembly to manage a hands-on, high-performance group of 4 engineers and technicians. You will bridge coaching with clear goals, organize schedules, and help your team grow while reporting to the Department Head.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering and Planning to keep radar projects running smoothly, oversee quality and safety, and drive continuous improvement in daily operations.

Qualifications

• MBO4 in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related high-tech field.
• 3+ years in high-tech manufacturing, assembly or engineering environments.
• Proven experience leading a technical sub-team of 2 to 8 direct reports.
• Strong hands-on experience with electronics and assembly.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Daily hands-on support: soldering, assembling, testing, and calibrating electronic parts for radar systems.
• Lead a team of 4: assign tasks, set goals, maintain workflow.
• Plan and schedule tasks; manage timesheets and leave requests.

Lead a skilled technical team and ensure our radar systems perform perfectly when it counts.

As our Team lead Electronics Assembly you will manage a dedicated technical team of 4 people while staying hands-on with daily production. You will bridge the gap between technical coaching and setting clear goals, organizing the schedule, and helping your team grow. You will report directly to the Department Head and work closely with Production, Engineering, and Planning to keep projects running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Daily Hands-on Support: Help your team with the daily workload. This includes soldering, assembling, testing, and calibrating electronic parts for our radar systems.
• Team Leadership: Assign daily tasks, set clear goals, and keep the workflow smooth for your team of 4.
• Planning & Scheduling: Assign tasks and organize work schedules. Handle timesheet approvals and manage leave requests to keep the workflow smooth.
• Coach & Support: Help your team members grow their skills and offer practical support when bottlenecks happen.
• Process Improvement: Make sure the team follows quality and safety standards. Spot bottlenecks, suggest better ways of working, and keep daily operations efficient.

What You Bring

• MBO4 (or work experience equivalent) in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related high-tech technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in high-tech manufacturing, assembly, or engineering environments.
• Proven experience leading, coaching, or managing a technical sub-team of 2 to 8 direct reports.
• Strong hands-on experience with electronics and assembly.
• Familiarity with tools like HiBob and Odoo (for scheduling and hours tracking) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to deliver constructive feedback and motivate colleagues.
• A proactive, down-to-earth mindset. You are a great communicator who knows how to motivate people.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
