Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Netherlands public sector. The role focuses on supporting the sales team with pre-sales technical activities and on becoming the primary technical resource on customer calls.

You will discuss features, integration, and security solutions, with emphasis on networking and modern cyber trends, while engaging with customers in Dutch and across hybrid or cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering, pre-sales, or cybersecurity.
• Fluent in Dutch and able to operate in a technical, customer-facing environment.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS) and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Qualify sales leads from a technical standpoint (Pre-sales).

The Systems Engineer's main mission will be to support the sales organization in all technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls.

As a Systems Engineer you will:

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint (Pre-sales)
• Be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/ educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration.
• Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
• Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.
