Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer in Utrecht to support the sales team on technical matters from pre-sales through post-sale training.

You will qualify leads, serve as the main technical resource on calls, and educate customers on networking features, protocols, and security solutions. Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of experience in pre-sales and LAN/WAN administration, with strong DNS/NFS/SMTP/HTTP/TCP/IP knowledge and credentials in protocols such as IPsec, PKI, IKE, and firewall

Qualifications

• Dutch fluency or native level is required for customer interactions and pre-sales support.
• 5–8 years in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
• 5–8 years in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
• Strong understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, IDS, antivirus.
• Familiarity with RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPsec, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES/3DES; encryption/authentication experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint (Pre-sales).
• Be the main technical resource on sales calls and educate customers on features and integration.
• Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
• Provide post-sales training assistance to identified customers.

• Conversant with networking applications and solutions.

We Are Looking For:
