Job summary

Huawei Nederland is seeking a highly skilled engineer to lead the design and development of hardware-software-chip co-optimization and integrated scheduling for HarmonyOS in Amsterdam. You will optimize OS-level performance, research advanced technologies, and build high-performance development frameworks to enable smoother user experiences.

This role requires strong problem solving, effective English communication, and collaboration with research, engineering, product and cross-regional teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on OS performance optimization and kernel development experience.
• Experience with CPU/GPU/DDR scheduling and power/thermal-aware scheduling.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Willing to relocate to Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware-software-chip co-optimization and integrated scheduling for HarmonyOS.
• Optimize OS-level application performance and improve interaction/animation experience.
• Analyze leading OS technologies and build high-performance development frameworks for HarmonyOS.
• Plan technology roadmap and evolution for HarmonyOS scheduling.
