Job summary

Danone BeNeLux is seeking a Sustainability Intern to support the sustainability agenda across its categories in the Netherlands. You will help organize trainings, be an ambassador for sustainability, and assist with reporting and audits.

The internship is 5–6 months, 4–5 days/week, starting January/February 2027, with office presence in Rijswijk, Hoofddorp, or Utrecht. You must be a enrolled student, fluent in English and Dutch, with a Master’s degree and strong stakeholder skills; French is a

Qualifications

• You are passionate about sustainable development and want to raise awareness of our roadmap.
• You have a Master degree with an analytical approach (preference in Food Industry).
• Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal, communication & convincing skills with a results-oriented mindset.
• You are curious about integrating sustainability into business strategy (objectives, build strategy, assess & manage risk & opportunities).
• You have a strong analytical mindset and deliver excellent data management and reports.
• You are enrolled as a Bachelor/Master student during the entire internship period.
• You reside in the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number; non-EU citizens need a Dutch residency permit.
• If non-EU, provide a 3-party internship agreement signed by your university.
• Availability Jan/Feb 2027 for 5–6 months, 4–5 days per week.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a plus.
• Able to work from Rijswijk/Hoofddorp/Utrecht office at least 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support Sustainability teams to raise internal awareness of our roadmap through sessions and trainings.
• Co-organize learning sessions and trainings for marketing, sales, and operations teams.
• Be an ambassador of the sustainability agenda and engage Danoners through thematic events.
• Assist with the annual packaging reporting campaign.
• Support Sustainability and HR teams on Human Rights internal audit.
• Develop and animate Food Circles activation with B Lab to boost awareness of B Corp.
