Job summary

The Sustainable Boys is seeking a versatile Sustainability Engineer to help expand our team and accelerate the energy transition. You will work on diverse installations for private and business customers, ensuring safe, neat, and properly functioning systems, from heat pumps to solar panels and ventilation.

We value experience in electrical, HVAC or plant engineering, a proactive mindset, and a readiness to learn and obtain necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience as an installer or technician within electrical, plant engineering or HVAC.
• Knowledge of at least one of the systems: heat pumps, PV, ventilation or air conditioning.
• In possession of driving license B.
• VCA and/or F-gases certificate (or willing to obtain it).
• Solution-oriented, customer-friendly and independent.
• Eager to learn and enthusiastic about sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Installing and connecting heat pumps (hybrid or all-electric).
• Mount and connect solar panels to inverters or home batteries.
• Construction or modification of electrical installations.
• Installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Insulation work (small scale or in cooperation with partners).
• Explaining to customers about their sustainable installation.
