This position is part of the Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems who engineers the most advanced integrated piping systems for the distribution and control of liquids and gases for key verticals. Aalberts IPS is an international organization, with energetic employees who are persistent to offer the best integrated piping system. As part of an integrated piping system for heating or cooling designed by Aalberts, their products contribute to energy savings and therefore to a more sustainable future. That is how Aalberts makes sustainable impact.
At Aalberts, progress is everything. Not only in technology and products, but especially in how the organization structures and manages its supply chain. With multiple production sites across Europe and beyond, and increasing complexity in demand and supply, the need for structure, insight and alignment continues to grow.
This is exactly where the challenge: not in optimizing what already exists — but in building what is not yet there.
To take this next step, a new position has been created. A role without clearly defined boundaries, but with a clear ambition. A role in which you, as Supply Planning Manager EMEA, take ownership of supply planning and inventory management, directly influencing the overall performance of the organization.
As Supply Planning Manager EMEA, you are responsible for translating demand into a realistic and executable supply plan across multiple production sites. You ensure that supply planning and inventory management operate as one integrated function and form a reliable foundation for decision-making.
You own the supply and inventory input within the SIOP process. This means you not only define plans, but also develop scenarios, provide visibility on risks, and deliver actionable insights that enable better decisions.
You work closely with the Demand Planning Manager, SIOP Manager and Plant Directors, and report directly to the Supply Chain Director EMEA / APAC. In this position, you continuously navigate between different interests: production capacity, commercial expectations, inventory levels and service performance. Where needed, you bring structure. Where it is lacking, you build it.
Key responsibilities include:
The responsibilities of the role are clear. The way you shape it is intentionally not.
This is not a position where you step into a fully established structure with clearly defined processes. There is no fixed blueprint. No single way of working.
This means:
You define the scope and position of the role
You bring structure to an environment where it is not yet fully in place
You align stakeholders around new ways of working and expectations
You create alignment across multiple plants, each with their own dynamics
You are someone who enjoys building. Not because it is required, but because it motivates you. You do not need rigid structures to perform. In fact, you thrive in environments where those structures still have to be created. You easily switch between content and stakeholders, and you have the ability to translate complexity into clear and actionable choices.
You recognize yourself in the following profile:
As a person, you are:
A role where you can truly make an impact. You will join an international organization that combines the scale, professionalism and strength of a corporate with the agility and entrepreneurial spirit of a smaller organization.
In addition, Aalberts offers:
