Job summary

To realize the ambitions of this global player, we are exclusively searching for a Demand Planning Manager EMEA for Aalberts IPS.

As Demand Planning Manager EMEA

You will lead the demand forecasting and planning process across the EMEA region. You play a crucial role in ensuring supply chain efficiency, customer satisfaction, and alignment with strategic business objectives. You will work closely with sales, finance, product management, and supply chain to ensure optimal alignment and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead the monthly demand planning cycle, including statistical forecasting, consensus meetings, and alignment with commercial teams.
  • Analyze historical sales trends, market intelligence, and promotional plans to develop robust demand forecasts.
  • Optimize demand planning tools and systems (GAINS).
  • Initiate and execute a roadmap for continuous improvement in demand planning.
  • Connect demand planning with supply chain to steer supply planning and inventory management.
  • Report to senior management on forecast performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support SIOP processes with timely and accurate demand input.
Our ideal Demand Planning Manager
  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field, and has at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical skills, is proficient in Excel, Power BI, and planning systems (GAINS is a plus), and communicates confidently with stakeholders.
  • Is independent, resilient under pressure, and familiar with multi-market environments, preferably with experience in industrial sectors or FMCG and knowledge of EMEA market dynamics and forecasting models.

Note: only candidates with work permit for the Netherlands can be considered for this role.
