Job summary

• Relevant education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency with ERP or supply chain planning tools and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work accurately under time pressure, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in marine services or international logistics is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; Dutch or other languages used in maritime trade are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate demand and supply for marine products and services to ensure timely availability for customers and vessels.
• Monitor inventory levels and analyze order patterns to optimize stock.
• Align forecasts with operational capabilities to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and warehouse teams to optimize stock levels and reduce lead times.
• Track KPIs and identify process improvements for data-driven decision making.
• Report to the Procurement manager and support continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Role Description

The Supply Chain Planner is a full-time, on-site role based in Rotterdam. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating demand and supply for marine products and services to ensure timely availability for customers and vessels. Day-to-day tasks include preparing demand and planning, monitoring inventory levels, analyzing order patterns, and aligning forecasts with operational capabilities.

The Supply Chain Planner collaborates closely with operations, sales, and warehouse teams to optimize stock levels, reduce lead times, and prevent shortages or excess inventory. The role also includes tracking key performance indicators, identifying process improvements, and supporting data-driven decision-making within the supply chain. This role is reporting to the Procurement manager.
