NES Fircroft is partnering with a leading international biopharmaceutical organization to recruit a Supply Chain Manager for their European distribution network. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing complex cold chain and distribution operations across Europe, working with logistics providers, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted product supply, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.

You'll join a highly collaborative and international team that values innovation, operational excellence, and a proactive mindset. The role offers significant visibility across the business and the opportunity to influence strategic supply chain decisions on a regional scale.

What You'll Be Doing

• Ensure product availability while maintaining high service levels, cost efficiency, and GDP compliance.
• Develop, implement, and optimize cold chain distribution solutions across Europe.
• Manage relationships with logistics providers and supply chain partners, conducting regular business and performance reviews.
• Drive supplier performance, issue resolution, escalation management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain service agreements and distribution partnerships.
• Analyze supply chain performance data and identify opportunities to improve quality, service, and efficiency.
• Assess the impact of regulatory, legislative, and market changes on existing distribution models.
• Plan, establish, and manage regional distribution lanes and transportation strategies.
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional and international supply chain projects.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across operations, quality, procurement, logistics, and commercial teams.

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

• Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Change Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or supplier management.
• Strong expertise in supply chain operations, warehousing, and cold chain logistics.
• Proven experience managing suppliers and third-party logistics providers.
• Strong project management experience across multiple departments and geographies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and data-driven decision making.
• Experience identifying root causes, solving complex problems, and driving sustainable improvements.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• Pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotech, medical device, high-tech, food, or chemical industry background.
• GMP and GDP knowledge.
• Experience working across multiple European countries.
• Lean, Operational Excellence, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• SAP and/or BW experience.
• Knowledge of European logistics regulations and compliance requirements.
