Job summary

Danone is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to join the Global Supply Chain SNU team in the Netherlands. The role focuses on planning, stock management, and continuous improvement across multiple countries, with collaboration across Supply Chain, Customer Service, Planning, and Market teams.

The internship offers exposure to end-to-end supply chain processes, data analysis, and cross-functional projects, with a hybrid work model and a November 2026 start date.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.
• Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN; non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
• For non-EU citizens, university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
• Available to start in November for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Able to work from Zoetermeer/Hoofddorp office at least 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer complaints, identify root causes, and support preventive actions.
• Support stock planning and replenishment for multiple countries to ensure product availability.
• Analyze supply chain data and create reports and dashboards for decision support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on continuous improvement and day-to-day operations.

About the job

In this internship, you will be part of the Global Supply Chain SNU team, within our Specialized Nutrition business. Our purpose is to deliver a seamless customer experience through efficient planning, stock management, and operational excellence. During this internship, you will collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Planning, and Market teams and coordinate/support on customer complaint prevention, stock planning and replenishment activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Monitoring customer complaints, identifying root causes, and supporting preventive actions to improve customer experience.
• Supporting stock planning and replenishment activities for multiple countries to ensure product availability and efficient inventory management.
• Analyzing supply chain data and creating reports and dashboards to support operational and planning decisions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders on continuous improvement initiatives and day-to-day supply chain operations.

About you

As a Supply Chain Intern, supporting end-to-end supply chain processes and driving operational excellence will be second nature to you. On top of that, you’re a proactive and data-driven problem-solver who’s always looking for opportunities to learn, take ownership, and develop.

Key requirements:

• Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or a related field for the entire duration of the internship.
• Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
• For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
• Available to start in November for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
