Job summary

Malvern Panalytical is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to optimize end-to-end processes, drive continuous improvement, and support SAP S4 developments. You will partner with procurement, production planning, and other stakeholders to solve operational challenges and implement efficient supply chain solutions.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and enabling smoother material flows and inventory management across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or a similar role.
• Experience with SAP S4 is strongly preferred, including implementation or key user experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in SAP S4, ERP systems, Excel, SAC, Power BI.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to challenge the status quo.
• Able to work independently, take ownership, and drive initiatives forward.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage, influence, and bring people along in change processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management, material flow, and production planning.
• Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation to streamline workflows.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
• Collaborate with IT and operations to enhance SAP S4 functionalities.
• Participate in testing, implementation, and training phases of SAP S4 enhancements.
• Act as a key user for SAP S4, providing input on configuration and troubleshooting system issues.
• Serve as a point of contact for procurement, production planning, and other stakeholders.
• Support new product launches and change initiatives with effective supply chain planning.
• Build relationships across the organization and influence stakeholders to achieve goals.
• Facilitate alignment between departments and drive adoption of new processes.
