Overview

Boeing Supplier Quality Specialist (Supplier Quality Systems) based in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands. The role involves working with a wider Boeing European team to manage the quality aspects of the supply base for all military products in Europe. Travel to Boeing suppliers around Europe will be required on a frequent basis (up to 60%). This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require relocation. This is a two years fixed term contract.

Responsibilities

• Management of a portfolio of suppliers including supplier oversight and surveillance.
• Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) review and acceptance.
• Supplier development and mentoring.
• Earlier Quality Involvement (EQI) and Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) implementation.
• Continuous improvement internal and external.
• Creating and presenting metrics and performance data.
• Product inspection and acceptance into the Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Drivers license full and clean
• Experience as a Quality Inspector or in the use of associated inspection equipment and processes; solid understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Business English; a second language would be an advantage
• High level of attention to detail and professional integrity
• Ability to work on multiple programs with varying requirements efficiently
• Willingness to travel frequently
• Ability to work efficiently in a virtual environment; time management skills are crucial

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Experience in inspection of machined and fabricated parts and assemblies; knowledge of electrical/electronic parts; experience with wire looms is advantageous
• Experience in the review of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to AS9102; ability to articulate non-conformities and progress to compliant resolution; knowledge/experience of FAA
• Experience in auditing techniques to AS9100
• Bachelor;s Degree or higher

This requisition is for a locally hired position in the Netherlands. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the Netherlands.
