Job summary

ATM Oirschot is seeking a Supervisor Surface Treatment to ensure daily production runs smoothly and meets quality standards. You will lead a team, schedule shifts (two alternating weeks), and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and compliance. The role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for team development and hands-on management.

Qualifications

• MBO+ level education with additional job-specific training courses.
• Good command of Dutch (spoken and written) and English; German is a plus.
• Ability to observe and report essential data from the production process.
• Proactive, analytical, and capable of managing employees and/or processes.

• Prepares work to prevent or resolve bottlenecks in a timely manner.

• Participates in weekly maintenance with the team.
• Provides technical and work-method support to employees.
• Implements Continuous Improvement and Daily Management within the department.
• Complies with safety, occupational health & safety, and quality regulations.

Supervisor Surface Treatment ensures that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis, while ensuring that delivered products meet the required quality standards in line with the planning, and employees are able to develop themselves to their fullest potential.

You are willing to work in “shifted hours”; this means one week from Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and on Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The other week from Monday through Thursday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM and on Friday from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Tasks And Responsibilities

• Has a hands-on role in which production is managed based on the daily schedule;
• Motivates, coaches, and manages the team/department in order to achieve set goals;
• Directs production based on priorities as indicated and in consultation with planning;
• Performs necessary preparatory work so that bottlenecks can be prevented or resolved in a timely manner;
• Ensures the guidance of new colleagues during the onboarding process;
• Participates in weekly maintenance together with team members;
• Provides technical and work-method support to employees;
• Ensures Continuous Improvement/Daily Management within the department and initiates improvement actions;
• Complies with safety, occupational health & safety, and quality regulations.

Job Requirements

• MBO+ level (various technical disciplines) with additional job-specific education and training courses;
• Knowledge of the production process, standards, etc., and able to observe and report essential data;
• Possesses a proactive attitude, strong analytical skills, persuasiveness, and the personal presence and authority to manage employees and/or processes;
• Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written; English spoken proficiency required; German is a plus.

ATM Oirschot has specialized since 1986 in the finishing treatment of products made from various materials, both ferrous and non-ferrous (particularly anodizing, hard anodizing, pickling, passivation, chromating, cleanroom cleaning, and packaging). In 2024, ATM opened a location at the Brainport Campus in Eindhoven.
