Job summary

Arvato in Venlo, Netherlands, is seeking a Supervisor Control Tower to lead daily warehouse operations in our High-Tech division. You will ensure KPI targets are met, coordinate staffing, and maintain operational continuity while working with SAP ERP/WMS systems and cross-functional teams.

You will supervise assistants, report to the Warehouse Manager, run shifts (early, late, or day) including weekends when required, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• MBO level or HBO starter; experience in supervisory role preferred.
• 1 year of experience as a Supervisor or 2 years as Assistant Supervisor.
• Experience with Excel and ERP/WMS systems (preferably SAP).
• Good command of English; strong analytical and leadership skills.

Job description

As a Supervisor Control Tower in Venlo, you take responsibility for the daily operations within the Control Tower of our High-Tech division. In this role, the focus is on maintaining control and overview of the operation through systems and data. You ensure KPIs are met, processes run smoothly, and issues are identified and followed up accurately.

This role requires you to be meticulous and comfortable working with complex systems, as you rely heavily on ERP/WMS systems such as SAP to monitor and manage the operation. You combine operational control with people leadership and continuously look for ways to improve performance.

YOUR ROLE

As Supervisor Control Tower, you coordinate and optimize the logistics process within your department. You are responsible for daily targets, staffing, and operational continuity.

• Coordinating daily warehouse operations and ensuring KPIs are achieved;
• Leading daily meetings with Team Leaders to review planning and staffing needs;
• Monitoring and adjusting processes throughout the day;
• Managing staff scheduling together with Workforce Planning;
• Coaching and motivating your team to maintain high performance.

You will lead Assistant Supervisors and operational employees and report to the Warehouse Manager. Together with fellow Supervisors, you ensure alignment between Operations, Workforce, and Support departments.

You’ll work in shifts (early, late, or day shifts depending on the department) and occasionally on weekends based on operational requirements.

We’re looking for a results-driven Supervisor who thrives in a dynamic warehouse environment.

• MBO working level with experience or HBO starter;
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Supervisor or 2 years as an Assistant Supervisor;
• Experience with Excel and ERP/WMS systems (preferably SAP);
• Good command of English;
• Strong analytical and leadership skills;
• Fulltime availability and willingness to work shifts.

• A gross monthly salary between €2.607 and €4.164 based on 40 hours, depending on your experience;
• 25 vacation days based on a 40-hour week;
