Job summary

Ask and Find Offshore Recruitment seeks a Superintendent Navigation & Communication for a leading Dutch shipping company headquartered in Amsterdam. The role covers service, maintenance and repair of NavCom systems on ships, plus handling related IT issues.

You will arrange inspections, follow up services, review reports and invoices, specify equipment, and keep up with changing NavCom regulations, informing the team accordingly.

Qualifications

• Actual knowledge of NavCom equipment (as of 2024).
• Technical understanding of electronics or willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication in Dutch and English.

What is the Job about
The Superintendent NavCom is responsible for Service, maintenance and repair of Navigation and Communications equipment on board, and for handling Navigation and Communication related IT issues.

What would be your job

• Arranging NavCom inspections.
• Follow-up of services.
• Checking incoming reports and invoices.
• Specifying nautical and technical equipment.
• Active monitoring of (changed) NavCom regulations and informing TD accordingly.

We are looking for someone whose work standards are high and who acts accordingly. You are independent, analytical, flexible and have the capacity to solve problems. You are a Teamworker who contributes to joined results and focuses on joint organization goals.
