OEG is seeking a Contract Specialist for the Subsea Division in the Netherlands. You will review, qualify and negotiate contractual terms, identify risks and support tender submissions from ITT to contract award.

Under the Commercial Director, you will lead client discussions, maintain governance compliance and coordinate with Tendering, Finance, Operations and Legal to ensure contracts align with capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract management within offshore, subsea or energy sectors.
• Ability to review, qualify and negotiate complex contractual terms.
• Familiarity with LOGIC, BIMCO and NEC contracting frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Review and qualify contractual terms during ITT and tender stages, identifying commercial, legal and operational risks.
• Prepare qualifications, deviation schedules and risk assessments for tender submissions.
• Lead contractual discussions and negotiations with clients in collaboration with Commercial Representatives.
• Develop negotiation positions balancing commercial competitiveness with risk allocation.
• Assess liabilities, indemnities, warranties, liquidated damages, payment terms and termination rights.
• Coordinate with Tendering, Commercial, Operations, Finance and Legal to align contractual commitments with capabilities.
• Maintain Contractual Risk Matrix throughout the tender lifecycle and ensure governance compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority and internal approval procedures.
• Coordinate resolution of deviations and outstanding matters before contract award.
• Review final contract docs for consistency with qualifications and approvals.
• Support handover to Project Management post-award and monitor contractual obligations during execution.
• Support change orders and dispute resolution with proper substantiation.
• Contribute to improving templates and processes.
