Job summary

Target is looking for a Style Consultant to join our team in Amsterdam. You will help guests by delivering friendly service, maintaining attractive visual displays, and staying informed about our assortment and promotions to drive sales.

Ideal candidates enjoy fast-paced environments, can work flexible shifts (nights/weekends), and collaborate with colleagues to create a guest-ready store. Training will equip you with the skills to grow in retail.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by executing visual standards and signing, stay knowledgeable on assortment.
• Use store tools to understand sales and inventory, and assist guest needs.
• Sort and move freight to the sales floor and locate backroom merchandise.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and floor presence via priority and manual fills.
• Keep backroom organized to support replenishment and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to inspire guests.
• Support price changes through clearance merchandising practices.
• Maintain fitting rooms to welcome and assist guests.
• Assist fulfillment by moving fitting room merchandise back to the sales floor.
• Follow safety and ethical conduct policies.
• Follow safety policies, report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services like back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive-up with compliance.
• Greet guests to create a welcoming experience.
• Assist guests warmly to solve their needs.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target.
• Other duties as needed.
