At TNO's Delft Building Innovation Lab, a Researcher in the Mechanical Test Hall will join a multidisciplinary team on national and international projects, translating research questions into practical test methods.

You design and install test setups, operate hydraulic and electromechanical actuators, log data, ensure safety and high-quality results, and collaborate with measurement specialists and client teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience independently conducting experimental research and understanding behavior of structures and measurement equipment.
• Experience operating hydraulic tensile, compression, and fatigue testing machines, preferably MTS.

Responsabilidades

• Work in multidisciplinary teams on national and international projects.
• Design test setups and calibrate sensors and instrumentation.
• Execute tests, log data, and ensure safety and reliability of results.
• Collaborate with measurement specialists and clients to apply findings.
