Job summary

TNO is seeking a Medior Researcher for the Delft Building Innovation Lab's Mechanical Test Hall. You will lead experimental work measuring loads and responses, operating hydraulic and electromechanical testing systems, and calibrating sensors to deliver reliable data for national and international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree HBO in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience operating hydraulic tensile, compression and fatigue testing machines (preferably MTS).
• Strong measurement and data acquisition skills with knowledge of sensors and electronics.
• Excellent command of Dutch; English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design test setups for mechanical and instrumentation systems.
• Conduct experiments and calibrate setups, install specimens and apply loads.
• Log, monitor and ensure high-quality data with a focus on safety.
• Collaborate with researchers and instrumentation specialists in project teams.
