Job summary

SII Netherlands, part of SII Group, seeks an aerospace Stress Engineer with at least 3 years of experience. You will work on primary and secondary structures, perform finite element modelling, static strength analyses, and contribute to design verifications across projects.

The role requires HBO engineering degree and knowledge of Patran, Nastran, Femap and Abaqus; strong communication; willingness to work on diverse projects; Dutch language a plus.

Qualifications

• HBO Engineering degree mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years aerospace stress experience.
• Experience with FE software Patran, Nastran, Femap and Abaqus.

Responsibilities

• Stress support for the conceptual and detail design of primary and secondary structures.
• Finite element modelling / analyses for structural parts and assemblies.
• Provide support to the design team for conceptual and detail design phases.
• Static strength analyses.
• Finite element analyses (linear and nonlinear).
• Generating design specifications and requirements.
• Implementation of design improvements.
• Compilation of stress documentation.
• Determine interface loads.

Profile:

We are a growing company, we contract engineers to customers, but also work on inhouse work packages.

For several projects experienced aerospace Stress engineers are needed.

At the moment we are specifically looking for a Stress Engineer with at least 3 years experience.

What you will do in our company in this role:

• Stress support for the conceptual and detail design of primary and secondary structures in various projects.
• Finite element modelling / Analyses for structural parts and assemblies.
• Provide support to the design team for conceptual and detail design phases
• Static strength analyses
• Finite element analyses (linear and non linear)
• Generating design specifications and requirements
• Implementation of design improvements
• Compilation of stress documentation.

What you bring:

• You bring lots of experience;
• HBO Degree in engineering (aviation and aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.);
• Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience, Aerospace related;
• Software knowledge of Patran, Nastran, Femap and Abaqus;
• Design techniques, tools and geometric tolerance principles, materials, manufacturing processes etc.;
• Good communication skills; Dutch is a plus
• Willing to work on different interesting projects.
