ASML’s Strategic Decision Support (SDS) team offers a master's internship in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, focusing on strategy, analytics, and data-driven decision-making. This is a 6-month minimum internship with at least 4 days per week, 3 days on-site, starting around November 2026.

Introduction

The Strategic Decision Support (SDS) team at ASML helps senior leaders make informed decisions on complex business and technology challenges. Working at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and decision science, the team supports topics such as portfolio strategy, capacity planning, and long-term business development. In this internship, you will contribute to projects that influence ASML's future direction. You will work alongside experienced professionals while developing practical skills in strategy, problem solving, and data-driven decision-making. This offers a unique opportunity to learn in a highly innovative and international environment in Veldhoven, the Netherlands.

Your assignment

During this internship, you will support strategic projects that help guide important business decisions. You will combine quantitative and qualitative analyses to create insights, evaluate scenarios, and support structured decision-making. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders while receiving coaching and mentorship from experienced professionals.

Your main responsibilities will be:

This is a master's internship (non-thesis) for a minimum of 6 months, minimum 4 days per week, 5 days per week preferred (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of November 2026 (flexible).

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

• Are pursuing a master's degree in econometrics, business analytics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative finance, engineering, physics, or a related quantitative STEM field
• Are enrolled at an educational institution throughout the entire internship period
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Are curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a complex environment
• Communicate clearly and can simplify complex topics for different audiences
• Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Other requirements you need to meet:

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. If you're currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate.
• If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
