Job summary

LG Energy Solution in Netherlands is seeking a Specialist II, Purchasing (Raw Materials) to independently manage purchasing activities for raw materials and suppliers, supporting manufacturing operations. The role covers sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and contract activities while balancing cost, quality, delivery, inventory and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, supplier management.
• Experience with RFQs and supplier negotiations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to independently manage suppliers with limited direction.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage purchasing activities for raw materials, commodities, and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, terms with suppliers.
• Create and manage purchase orders per approved requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production needs.
