Job summary

DroneShield seeks a Proposal Specialist to own select proposal responses—including tenders, RFIs, RFQs, and others—across European and international defence and security markets in support of regional Commercial Directors. The role is in-office or hybrid with an expectation of generally working at least 3 days/week from our Amsterdam European HQ.

This hands-on, strategic position suits someone who can manage proposals end-to-end, write the bulk of content, and coordinate inputs from sales,

Qualifications

• 2+ years in technology proposal development, preferably defence/aerospace or dual-use sectors.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and structuring skills; capable of developing core content.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with Commercial Directors in vetting opportunities.
• Own and manage full lifecycle of proposal responses from RFP review to final submission.
• Lead the writing effort across technical, management, and executive sections.
• Coordinate inputs from SMEs, commercial, legal, finance, and engineering to ensure compliant submissions.
• Establish and manage proposal plans, timelines, and review cycles.
• Run internal reviews and incorporate feedback to improve content quality.
• Develop and maintain a library of reusable content and boilerplate.
