Job summary

Everience Benelux is seeking a Commodity Buyer – Indirect Spend to shape sourcing across IT, professional services, facilities and other business support services within an international environment. You will partner with leaders, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, identify cost savings and drive procurement transformation while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree HBO level or equivalent.
• Several years of procurement experience in strategic sourcing or category management.
• Experience with indirect spend categories such as IT, professional services, facilities or workforce solutions.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience managing tenders, RFQs and commercial contracts.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned indirect spend categories.
• Lead supplier selection, tender and RFQ processes.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, framework agreements and service contracts.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive continuous supplier performance improvements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to procurement transformation initiatives.
• Monitor supplier risks and support business continuity across critical service categories.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and procurement needs.
• Support contract management, renewals and supplier governance activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and applicable regulations.
• Provide reporting on spend, savings, supplier performance and procurement activities.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the procurement function.

Job Description

We are looking for a Commodity Buyer - Indirect Spend.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across a range of indirect procurement categories, including professional services, consultancy, IT services, facilities management, temporary workforce solutions, logistics and other business support services.

You will act as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders, creating value through effective supplier management, contract negotiations, cost optimization and risk management. The role combines strategic sourcing, stakeholder engagement and supplier relationship management within a dynamic and international environment.

You will work closely with business leaders, functional managers and suppliers across different areas of the organization.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

As a Commodity Buyer – Indirect Spend, you will:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned indirect spend categories;
• Lead supplier selection, tender and RFQ processes;

Your Profile

You are a commercially driven and analytical procurement professional who enjoys building strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers. You are comfortable operating both strategically and operationally and are able to balance business needs with commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree (HBO level) or equivalent;
• Several years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or category management;
• Experience with indirect spend categories such as IT, professional services, facilities or workforce solutions;
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills;
• Experience managing tenders, RFQs and commercial contracts;
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
• An analytical mindset, with experience in spend analysis and cost optimization;
• The ability to work independently in an international and dynamic environment;
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (required);
• Experience within the space, aerospace or high-tech industry is considered a strong advantage;
• Experience working in a complex international environment is a plus.
