Job summary

ViCentra B.V. in Utrecht, Netherlands, seeks an Operations Finance Manager to partner with Operations and translate on-floor activity into reliable financials.

You’ll own cost of goods, overhead allocations, inventory valuation, and forecasting, weaving cost accounting, FP&A and project controlling into one aligned function. You’ll drive a close that is timely and accurate, link operational KPIs to the financials, and provide transparent spend visibility to project sponsors.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field; professional qualification preferred.
• 6 to 9 years of finance experience in cost accounting or production finance within manufacturing.
• Strong costing, BOM and routing knowledge; variance analysis; inventory valuation; GL reconciliation.
• Experience with external or contract manufacturers.
• Led cost improvement or capacity expansion programmes from business case to delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder skills and data-driven mindset.
• Advanced Excel and modelling; interest in AI as a tool.
• Fluent English; Dutch a plus.
• Bonus: MDR/ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, IFRS capitalisation knowledge, or Power BI/Tableau skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the standard cost model end to end: BOM, labour, overhead rates.
• Run monthly production close and explain variances by driver.
• Own inventory valuation and reconcile subledger to GL.
• Interface with contract manufacturers on transfer prices and tooling costs.
• Translate sales plans into supply and production forecasts and budgets.
• Build gross margin and unit cost trajectories for SLT/Board.
• Set up financial formats for PMO portfolio and capitalisation treatment.
• Prepare and challenge investment appraisals for capacity and new products.
• Establish regular cadence with Operations for reconciled metrics.
• Simplify recurring work and leverage AI to boost output.
