Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking an experienced Business Controller Enabling Functions to act as a senior financial partner for HR, IT, Finance and Procurement in a high-visibility, international setting.

You will translate strategy into financial outcomes, challenge assumptions, and drive value creation with senior leadership and Board stakeholders. A strong finance background, stakeholder skills, and fluency in English are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 8 years in Business Control, FP&A or financial business partnering roles.
• Extensive experience with budgeting, forecasting, planning and performance management processes.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to connect financial insights to business decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• English fluency; Dutch knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance business partner for senior leaders across multiple enabling functions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes for areas of responsibility.
• Monitor financial and operational performance and provide forward-looking insights.
• Challenge plans and business cases to ensure sound decision-making.
• Translate complex financial data into clear insights for senior stakeholders and Board members.
• Support leadership teams in achieving strategic objectives through performance management.
• Identify synergies and improvement opportunities across functions.
• Drive continuous improvements in planning, reporting, governance and processes.
