Job summary

Vanderlande invites a Master student to an internship in Strategy & Operations Optimization in Veghel. You will map our global team, analyze topologies, and build optimization models to speed delivery within SAFe. A prototype dashboard will enable what-if scenarios, culminating in an actionable leadership report.

Required: hands-on Python, SQL, and data visualization with Power BI or Tableau; strong analytical thinking; English fluency; Dutch education enrolment and residency in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python experience.
• SQL proficiency to extract data.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau to build dashboards.
• Strong analytical mindset for optimization and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Map ecosystem by gathering data on global team competencies and SAFe sprint velocities.
• Analyze team topologies to evaluate bottlenecks in current structures and agile processes.
• Build optimization models (Constraints-Based Scheduling or Linear Programming) to simulate impact on delivery speed.
• Design a prototype dashboard for leadership to run 'what-if' simulations on team reorg and roadmap changes.
• Write a final actionable report with methods, findings, and practical recommendations.
