Job summary

Robin Radar Systems seeks a Procurement Category Manager - Mechatronic Parts to secure long-term capacity and reliability for precision metals, electromechanical assemblies, and complex components. You’ll partner with Product Engineers early in design to drive DFM insights and Make vs Buy decisions to support rapid scale-up.

You will report to the Head of Procurement, build trusted relationships with global suppliers, and implement SLAs to monitor OTIF and quality while guarding against

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Source and execute sourcing strategies for mechatronics, precision metals, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Electromechanical Engineers during early design phases on DFM and cost structures.
• Develop supplier relationships and implement SLAs to monitor OTIF and quality metrics.
• Identify material shortages and single-source risks to protect production lines.
• Lead Make vs Buy analyses for complex sub-assemblies and draft Statements of Work.
• Negotiate framework contracts and manage pricing, lead times, and SAP/Odoo data.
