Job summary

Progressive is seeking an Senior Strategic Learning & Development Specialist to lead strategic learning initiatives across a global organization. The role focuses on digital learning ecosystems, LXP deployments, and skills transformation, partnering with HR, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure adoption and business alignment.

You will drive governance, enable capability development, and translate strategies into practical upskilling and reskilling programs across the region.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Learning & Development and/or Organisational Development.
• Proven experience with digital learning platforms and LXP solutions.
• Experience leading strategic capability or skills transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the L&D roadmap for the digital learning landscape.

For one of our Life science clients - we are currently looking for a Senior Strategic Learning & Development Specialist

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Learning & Development leader to drive several high-impact strategic initiatives within a global organisation. This role is ideal for a senior professional with expertise in digital learning ecosystems, Learning Experience Platforms (LXP), organisational development, and skills transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the L&D roadmap for the digital learning landscape.
• Partner with Digital HR, internal stakeholders, and vendors.
• Drive adoption, learner experience, and continuous improvement of learning technologies.
• Align digital learning solutions with business capability priorities.
• Act as the L&D lead within the Skills Programme.
• Translate skills strategies into upskilling and reskilling solutions.
• Support skills governance, taxonomy, and operating model decisions.

SHL Assessment Implementation (15%)

• Lead the rollout and adoption of SHL assessment solutions.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, governance updates, and integration into talent processes.
• Support transition activities from existing assessment providers.

High Performing Teams EMEA (5%)

• Coordinate team effectiveness interventions across the region.
• Advise stakeholders and support facilitation and implementation efforts.
