Job summary

Deloitte Netherlands in Amsterdam is seeking a Junior Learning & Development Specialist to support an international team where continuous development is central. You will help build a sustainable L&D offering, organize activities, and ensure clear communication with all levels.

The role covers LMS admin, training logistics, content curation for the Learning Experience Platform, and the use of AI tools and analytics to improve learning experiences while handling data securely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Educational Sciences, Business Administration, Human Resource Management or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication, a service-oriented approach, and excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Experience with LMS/LXP platforms is an advantage; AI tools and analytics are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and verify the administrative recording of training programmes in the LMS, with Global team in India.
• Manage the logistics of training programmes, including invitations, evaluations, vendor management, content management and related communications.
• Collaborate on curating engaging learning content for the Learning Experience Platform.
• Use AI tools and learning analytics to streamline administrative tasks and enhance content and experiences, while ensuring data is used securely.
• Compile, maintain and report key management information and learning metrics.
• Respond promptly to enquiries about learning from participants, course owners and facilitators.
• Contribute to internal learning projects (e.g., Learning Technology, Future Ready Skills, Measurement & Impact, Branding & Marketing).

Job Description

• You use AI tools and learning analytics to streamline administrative tasks and enhance content curation and learning experiences, while ensuring data is used ethically and securely.
• You compile, maintain and report key management information and learning metrics.
• You respond promptly and effectively to enquiries about learning from participants, course owners and facilitators.
• Contribute to an internal learning project, for example in Learning Technology, Future Ready Skills, Measurement & Impact, or Branding & Marketing.

Qualifications

For the Junior L&D Specialist role, you should have:

• A completed bachelor’s degree, preferably in Educational Sciences, Business Administration, Human Resource Management or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication skills, a service-oriented approach, and excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with LMS and LXP platforms is an advantage.
• Experience with, or familiarity with, AI productivity tools and basic learning analytics is desirable.
• The ability to adapt and prioritise in a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
• Excellent spoken and written command of both Dutch and English.
