Job summary

Graphic Packaging International, based at the Hoogerheide site in the Netherlands, seeks a Key Account Manager reporting to the Sales Director Benelux. You will manage key customer accounts, identify and secure new business, and help meet sales targets across existing and new markets.

You will develop strong relationships with important contacts, support tenders and pricing, and provide technical guidance to customers while travelling regularly to cover customer needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in business-related discipline.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Computer literacy – spreadsheet and presentation software.
• Experience in the packaging/carton industry.
• Understanding of carton-making processes and raw materials.
• Commercial judgement and energy to close deals.
• Effective communication through meetings, writing, presentations and calls.
• Teamplayer with a professional, presentable demeanor.
• Ability to identify and analyse threats/opportunities.
• Flexibility to travel regularly as needed.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to achieving the sales budget plan.
• Develop sales growth from existing and new accounts.

• Lead the Account Managers Customer Services team to meet requirements.
