Job summary

DP World Multimodal Solutions is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for trailers, intermodal equipment, leasing and related services across Europe. You will drive cost efficiency, supplier performance and asset availability while delivering long‑term commercial value.

You will collaborate with Operations, Fleet, Carrier Management, Freight Management and Finance to align sourcing strategies with business objectives and sustainable growth across DP World’s European

Qualifications

• Significant procurement experience within logistics, transport, shipping or supply chain environments.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, governance and best practices.
• Hands-on experience leading commercial negotiations and supplier management.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of an organisation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong leadership potential to develop procurement capabilities.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and capacity sourcing strategies for trailers, intermodal equipment, leasing and related services.
• Lead tenders, supplier selection, commercial negotiations and contract awards.
• Evaluate purchasing versus leasing options to optimise cost and flexibility.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with equipment manufacturers, leasing providers and maintenance suppliers.
• Collaborate with DP World group procurement teams to share best practices and identify cost optimisation opportunities.
• Negotiate framework agreements and service-level agreements delivering measurable value.
• Monitor supplier performance, compliance, service quality and delivery commitments.
• Drive procurement savings, cost avoidance and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Support fleet investment, replacement and expansion programmes across Europe.
• Identify and mitigate supplier, commercial and supply chain risks.
• Promote sustainable sourcing and equipment innovation.
