Job summary

FrieslandCampina in Amersfoort is seeking a Demand Planner who will develop the baseline forecast for a portfolio of fast-moving consumer goods, incorporating promotions and inputs from commerce to improve accuracy.

You will collaborate across supply chain, sales and customer service, own the 0‑13 week and 4‑18 month horizons, and drive improvements in forecast bias, service levels and waste while embracing a data‑driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in SCM/Logistics or Marketing.
• Minimum 2 years in Demand Planning or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of forecasting, S&OP, statistics.
• ERP knowledge (SAP, APO DP/SNP, BW, MicroStrategy, Power BI, OMP).
• MS Office advanced.
• Knowledge of E2E Supply Chain in FMCG.
• Fluent Dutch & English, written and spoken.
• Analytical, strong communicator, customer‑oriented & persuasiveness.
• Proactive, learning-oriented and owning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create baseline forecast enriched by inputs from commerce (insights, promotions) for 0–13 weeks and 4–18 months horizon.
• Apply statistical forecasting and understand business dynamics to update the demand plan.
• Translate promotions, NPDs, phase-ins/outs, seasonality into the demand plan.
• Constrain forecast when supply is restricted and share results with internal stakeholders (supply, sales, service).
• Prepare activity and demand review meetings and provide input for MT Sign-Off.
• Be first contact for commercial org for operational and/or tactical horizon (OPCO Netherlands).
• Participate in assigned projects (New Product Launches or system enhancements).
• Drive continuous data‑driven improvements of forecast accuracy and bias.
