Job summary

RIFT is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to shape the company’s next growth phase and define its financial strategy. You will secure funding, extend cash runway, and allocate capital to maximise long-term value, while working with the CEO and senior team to prepare for future fundraising rounds, including a Series C.

You will lead the Finance team and collaborate across Legal, Operations and Business Development to ensure governance, compliance, and scalable financial processes that enable

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a finance-related field.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership, incl. senior finance roles in startup/scale-up.
• Experience scaling tech-driven, industrial, or manufacturing organisations.

Responsibilities

• Defines and executes the company’s financial strategy in alignment with growth objectives.
• Leads funding, treasury and cash management, including equity, debt, grants, and alternative financing.
• Leads project finance modelling and bankable contractual structures.
• Establishes reporting, KPIs and data analytics for executives and investors.
• Manages governance, risk, legal, IT and data governance to support growth.
• Drives fundraising processes and investor relations for future financing rounds.
