Job summary

RIFT is transitioning from technology development to commercial deployment, seeking a Chief Financial Officer to shape financial strategy and capital structure for scalable growth. You will lead funding, governance, and performance management, partnering with the CEO, board, and investors to build a bankable, transparent finance function across international expansion.

As CFO, you will secure funding, extend cash runway, manage liquidity, and allocate capital for long‑term value.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in finance, accounting, business, or economics.
• CPA/ACCA/CFA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in startups/scaling companies.
• Experience with FP&A, modelling, treasury, accounting, tax and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes the company's financial strategy in line with growth ambitions.
• Leads funding strategies across equity, debt, grants and alternative financing.
• Oversees project finance, contract risk and bankable structures.
• Establishes KPIs, reporting, and decision-support for executives and investors.
• Ensures governance, compliance, risk management and internal controls.
• Manages budgeting, forecasting, audit activities, and tax compliance.
• Drives investor relations, fundraising, and stakeholder reporting.
