Job summary

GKN Aerospace is seeking a Capture Director for Missiles & Uncrewed Systems to drive the successful capture and delivery of technology and infrastructure development across EU defence programmes. You will lead an IPT, coordinate with Business Development, and shape pricing and win strategies to maximize bid success.

You will report to the SVP of Business Development & Strategy, own the end-to-end capture process, and ensure compliance with governance, funding, and contractual requirements while

Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional bid and IPT teams.
• Broad understanding of business development, finance, commercial, programme management, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing.
• EU Security Clearance at SC level is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of capture plans for EU sovereign technology and infrastructure programmes.
• Oversee end-to-end capture activities, including strategic positioning, proposals, approvals and submissions.
• Own budgets, cost control, and governance for capture campaigns.
• Translate MOD requirements into production-ready industrial solutions, including factory layouts and digital manufacturing.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure technical readiness and alignment with capture strategies.
