DSPA is an international manufacturer of innovative aerosol and nitrogen fire suppression systems. Our solutions are used worldwide in critical environments ranging from wind turbines and industrial applications to data centers and energy infrastructure.

All systems are assembled in-house at our facility in the Netherlands. We focus on environmentally responsible fire protection technologies designed without water or PFAS, with zero environmental impact.

As our organization continues to grow internationally, we are looking for a proactive and organized Buyer / Production Planner to join our team.

Buyer / Production Planner (Full-time | Permanent Position)

Location: Nijmegen region, Netherlands

Job Description

As a Buyer / Production Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production and supply chain processes. You will work closely with suppliers, logistics, production, engineering, and sales teams to ensure materials are available on time and production planning runs efficiently.

You will also contribute actively to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain and production environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking, planning, organization, and operational improvement within a technical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Supply Chain

• Purchase materials, components, and production-related supplies
• Maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers
• Monitor delivery times, pricing, and stock levels
• Process purchase orders and confirmations within ERP systems
• Organize domestic and international transportation
• Identify opportunities for supply chain optimization
• Improve and streamline operational processes across the supply chain

Production Planning

• Prepare and manage production schedules
• Coordinate production capacity, delivery timelines, and priorities
• Monitor progress and adjust planning when necessary
• Collaborate closely with production, quality, R&D, and sales departments

Production Preparation & Process Optimization

• Prepare production orders and bills of materials
• Maintain accurate ERP administration and documentation
• Support process and product improvement initiatives proactivelyImplement operational improvement plans
• Contribute to improvements in safety, quality, and cost efficiency
• Help structure scalable processes for continued company growth

What We Are Looking For

• HBO or university-level working and thinking ability, preferably in a technical, operational, or business-related field
• Experience within a production or manufacturing environment
• Strong planning, organizational, and process-oriented skills
• A proactive mindset focused on efficiency and continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Professional Dutch and English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of ownership and responsibility
