VIA Logistics Professionals is seeking a Business Development Manager to own commercial growth in the Benelux region, with additional focus on Asia and the United States. You will drive strategic growth, win new customers, and design customised logistics solutions for complex needs.

The role requires a degree in logistics or related field, several years in contract logistics sales, and a proven sales track record. Hybrid working with a strong global exposure awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Business, Commerce or related field.
• Several years in a commercial role within contract logistics.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and growing customer base.
• Extensive knowledge of transport, warehousing and supply chain management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies for profitable growth in Benelux with Asia and US focus.
• Identify and approach new business opportunities in retail, fashion, pharma, aerospace & defence and high tech.
• Translate RFQs/RFIs into complete, customised logistics solutions with operations and engineering.
• Manage full sales process from lead generation to contract signing using a CRM system.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate them into business strategies.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to implement and optimise commercial strategies.
